Funerals

A Christian funeral is a celebration of a Christian life - one that has not ended, but is changed.  As a matter of our faith in Jesus Christ, we trust that all Christian persons who die, die in the Lord.  They are at rest, until the day when the Lord returns and all who have died in Christ are raised to life.

Generally speaking, the best time to prepare for a funeral is right now unless you are in the midst of significant trauma. Advance preparation saves heartache, energy, and even money. We know this isn't easy at any time and it does take time and prayer.  You may work with a local funeral director to arrange for the specifics (choice of casket, etc.), while consulting the clergy regarding specific wishes for the funeral service itself (form of service, music, etc.)  For those who are planning ahead for themselves and their families, please contact us.

If you have just experienced the death of a loved one please know that we are here to help you.  Whatever your experience with the church has been we are here for you and will do all we can to assist you with a Christian Funeral.
