Confirmation is a Sacrament offered to individuals who are prepared to make an adult confession of faith.  For individuals baptized as infants or young children, this is typically offered in early adolescence.

Adults who have been baptized, but come from a Christian tradition without apostolic orders (bishops), and wish to make a public profession, may do so.

Confirmation is observed only when a bishop is present, which typically happens once a year.
