While there may be many things members of St. David's are called to do as followers of Jesus Christ, the first task is to share the Love of God we have experienced in His Son our Lord (John 13.34). 

As individual men and women who have chosen to follow the Lord, we are responding, each of us, to the unbelievable and extravagant love of God the Father for us.  We are undeserving, and in no position to demand anything from God.  Yet, in His great love for us, He has come on a rescue mission in the person of Jesus the Lord - dying for our sins, and rising to bring us to new life (John 3.16).

We respond in gratitude by sharing this love - a free gift to us - with others whom we encounter (Matthew 10.8).  This is love "with skin on", as we meet the real needs of those in our community and our world.
